With the world premiere of the first all-electric C‑Class, Mercedes-Benz has launched what it says is its latest vehicle engineered around the driver. The company has prioritized performance and driving dynamics, intuitive intelligence, personalization, quality and comfort.
The interior of the electric C-Class offers more space than previous models and combines a high-quality feel with a cutting-edge digital experience.
“With the all-new electric C‑Class, we’ve raised everything customers love about this model to the next level. The result is a new benchmark for quality, craftsmanship and comfort. It is the most spacious and most intelligent C-Class ever,” said Ola Källenius, chairman of the board of management at Mercedes-Benz Group.
Space with multisensory design
The purpose-built, all-electric architecture and large panoramic glass roof are designed to create a more spacious interior. According to Mercedes, flowing forms, materials, colors, digital technologies, light and sound come together to create a holistic, multisensory comfort experience.
Materials
A new optional Twisted Diamond design Nappa leather combines elegant diamond perforation with contrast stitching to emphasize its handcrafted character. The AMG Line leather seats feature fine moccasin stitching on the side bolsters.
The curated interior color concept comprises three standard shades: deep black, warm beech brown and stylish macchiato beige. These are complemented by a variety of trim finishes, ranging from white open-pore natural fiber to open-pore fineline birch wood in gray or brown.
Metallic elements with a tech-inspired aesthetic enhance the climate control air vents, speaker grilles, door handles and power seat controls. The speaker grille design features a new horizontal line graphic with a three-dimensional relief and two-tone finish.
The electric C-Class is also available with a vegan interior certified by The Vegan Society. The optional Vegan Package includes all soft-touch surface materials from the seat upholstery and headliner to the pillars, door panels and carpeting.

Seats designed for long-distance comfort
The C-Class features electro-pneumatic four-way lumbar support that adapts the backrest to the natural shape of the spine. Optional features include a full-backrest massage function, seat ventilation and 4D sound via the Burmester 4D surround-sound system.
Integrating the digital
A large trim element links the center console and dashboard, accommodating either the MBUX Hyperscreen or Superscreen. Ten high-resolution ambient styles are available, allowing further interior personalization, with coordinated colors across the instrument cluster, controls and ambient lighting.
Optional ambient lighting runs from the dashboard and center console across the doors to the panoramic roof, where 162 integrated light points create a star-like effect.
With the optional energizing comfort package, coordinated sound, massage and lighting programs create a wellness-focused in-car experience. Enhanced display animations on the MBUX Hyperscreen and refined 3D/4D audio support relaxation or stimulation, while energizing seat kinetics use subtle seat movements to support muscle activity during longer journeys.
All weather
The newly developed automatic climate control maintains a comfortable cabin temperature in winter, even without pre-conditioning. In a 20-minute drive at -7°C, the interior heats up about twice as quickly as in combustion-engine models while using roughly half the energy, supported by a multisource heat pump. Heating starts automatically when occupants enter, and the system also adjusts dehumidification and cooling as needed to help maintain comfort and reduce the negative effects of dry air.
Electric drive
According to Mercedes, the C-Class features aerodynamic refinements and structural enhancements that contribute to a quiet interior. Measures include a rigid body structure, aerodynamic optimization, extensive sound insulation from front to rear, elastomer mounts decoupling the suspension from the body, a specially designed electric motor, a new air-conditioning unit and standard noise-insulating laminated glass for the front windows.
