Škoda has added functions such as Vehicle-to-Load, Camp Mode and wellbeing features to its new Peaq, as part of an expansion of the Simply Clever portfolio, which the company says is designed to make everyday driving and longer journeys easier as electric mobility develops. The new features in the Peaq are designed to provide additional practicality for storage, charging and outdoor use.
Škoda has added bidirectional charging to its electric models, including the Peaq. Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality allows energy from the traction battery to power external devices. Power can be supplied through a 230V socket in the trunk or an adapter connected to the vehicle’s charging socket, supporting devices such as laptops, cameras, kettles and e-bikes.
Camp Mode is designed for occasional overnight stays in the vehicle. Once activated through the MyŠkoda app, it maintains the selected interior temperature throughout the night and provides a continuous supply of fresh air. It requires a battery charge of at least 30%, a 12V starter battery in good condition and a stable internet connection.
The optional Relax Package for the new Škoda Peaq adds heated, electrically adjustable AGR-certified seats with massage and ergonomic leg rests, with seat ventilation available in Suite interiors. It also includes a Sonos sound system and Wellbeing app, which adjusts functions such as climate control, ambient lighting and seat massage across six modes.
In the seven-seater version of the Peaq, additional storage space is provided under the hood, offering extra capacity for everyday items.
