Škoda enables overnight cabin climate control

Škoda enables overnight cabin climate control.

Škoda Auto is introducing Camp Mode in the MyŠkoda app, allowing customers to use their electric vehicles as a comfortable base for overnight stays and longer breaks. By automatically maintaining the selected cabin temperature, including overnight, Camp Mode offers greater flexibility when traveling. The feature will be available across all Škoda electric model series, including the Epiq, Elroq, Enyaq and Peaq, provided that Škoda Connect services are active, regardless of the vehicle generation or software version.

Camp Mode is designed to let drivers use their electric vehicles for overnight stays. It’s activated by tapping an icon in the MyŠkoda app, which switches on the air-conditioning to maintain interior temperature during longer breaks or overnight stops.

Škoda’s Camp Mode feature will roll out with version 8.14 of the MyŠkoda app. To use it, the vehicle’s high-voltage battery must be charged to at least 30%, and Škoda Connect services must be active.
