A partnership has been announced that will integrate Micware’s LeerosNavi navigation application into in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) specialist P3’s Sparq OS, AAOS-based IVI platform.
The collaboration will combine P3’s expertise in IVI systems with Micware’s navigation technologies to deliver a navigation experience designed for next-generation vehicle, the companies said. They added that with LeerosNavi pre-integrated into Sparq OS, automotive manufacturers will be able to benefit from faster deployment, reduced integration effort and a navigation solution optimized for modern cockpit environments. Drivers using Sparq OS will receive updated traffic, map data and point-of-interest information from the cloud to keep their routes and maps current.
LeerosNavi offers highly detailed and reliable map coverage across Japan. Micware’s navigation app leverages expertise in map data processing, route guidance, real-time connectivity and user-centric design. The solution delivers route search, traffic integration, destination sharing and next-generation connected and AR-assisted navigation, carefully tailored to Japan’s complex road networks, urban density and local driving requirements.
