P3 Digital Services has announced a strategic partnership with Swiss electric motorcycle company Hush Cycles to power its next-generation digital cockpits with P3’s advanced Android Automotive OS-based platform, Sparq OS.

P3’s Sparq OS for motorcycles infotainment platform will be fully pre-integrated and embedded in a live Hush Cycles motorcycle dashboard, with handlebars connected. The Sparq OS solution for Hush Cycles has been customized to align with the design and styling of the bike, and the companies have also worked together on developing an entirely new custom theme and user experience.

The prototype Superior GT will feature all of the capabilities enabled by Sparq OS and the new proof-of-concept will have its worldwide debut at CES 2027 in January.

Magna has developed a sustainable leather alternative made from apples and recycled materials.

The automotive seating surface material has been designed to meet premium seating requirements while enabling OEMs to increase the use of bio-based and recycled materials in future vehicle programs. It has been formulated using bio-based inputs, including apple by-products, alongside recycled materials.

The solution has been developed to meet automotive seating requirements such as durability, wear resistance, environmental endurance and visual consistency under demanding conditions. It can be produced in a range of colors, grain patterns and perforation options for OEM-specific seating designs, while replicating the look and feel of traditional leather.

Smart Eye has announced that it is to host a technology demonstration next month of a new multimodal in-cabin AI agent that can interpret context, decide what to do next and take action

The agent draws on multiple sources of input, including voice, driver identity, gaze, attention, emotion, driver state and occupancy, alongside information from the vehicle’s interior and exterior sensing systems.

Agentic AI can require significant computing resources, particularly for complex tasks. Adding multimodal context to each request can provide agents with more complete and targeted information, potentially reducing the processing required to reach a useful outcome.

The Phantom Extended Private Commission was created in tribute to a client’s wife through Private Office Dubai. Inspired by the hummingbird and its associations with joy, resilience and an appreciation of nature, the commission celebrates the detail and beauty of the natural world.

The new interface is designed to improve conventional mechanical controls with a modern, thin and configurable solid-state system that combines touch and force sensing with visual and haptic feedback. BMW has announced that its 3D Maps will combine navigation, the vehicle’s surroundings and driver assistance information into a single view for BMW vehicles equipped with Operating System X, starting in October 2026. The integrated display will show how the vehicle perceives its surroundings and whether assistance functions are supporting the driver, from complex situations in city traffic to hands-free assisted driving on the highway.

The feature combines route guidance, the vehicle’s surroundings and driver assistance information, which enables drivers to see not only the next navigation step, but also how the vehicle perceives its surroundings and which assistance functions are supporting the driving task.
