Chamberlain Group’s myQ has partnered with Kia America to offer Kia drivers the myQ Connected Garage feature, which enables drivers to monitor and control their garage doors remotely from the vehicle’s intuitive touchscreen display.
Connected Garage is compatible with 2024 and 2025 Kia vehicles and enables garage doors to be automatically opened or closed based on the vehicle’s proximity, ensuring a smooth arrival and departure experience.
With Kia myQ Connected Garage, drivers are not only able to check to see if they left their garage door open but are also able to close the garage door remotely. Whether on a daily commute or miles away, Kia owners can monitor and manage their garage door through the vehicle’s touchscreen display.
Other highlights of the feature include custom geofencing, simplified in-vehicle operations and support for multiple garage doors at multiple locations. “Our teamwork with Kia America exemplifies how myQ continues to push the boundaries of smart access technology by integrating it seamlessly into everyday life,” said Jim Trainor, senior vice president and general manager, automotive business unit, Chamberlain Group.
