Peugeot has released details of the interior of its latest 308 model, with varying levels of trim, equipment, safety features and advanced driver assist technologies.

Available in five trim levels, all models feature the company’s i-Cockpit configuration inside, with a multi-function steering wheel and a 10in HD capacitive color touchscreen. Eco, Normal, and Sport modes can be selected via a drive mode selector on petrol and diesel variants, while hybrid variants can select between Electric, Hybrid and Sport modes.

The 308’s interior also features the French OEM’s trademark ‘Piano key’ controls along with new customizable i-Toggles. The gloss black toggle switches enable drivers to gain easy access to vehicle functions and features.

Inside the GT Premium and Active Premium trim levels, customers benefit from a new multi-function split leather and gloss compact steering wheel, Peugeot i-Cockpit, a 10in digital instrument panel display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, electro chromatic frameless rearview mirror, and driver and front passenger comfort seats for an improved driver and passenger experience.

Allure models feature seats upholstered in ‘Falgo’ Tri-Material with an ‘Isabella’ leather effect and cloth seat trim with Mint stitch detailing. Alongside this, the 308 comes with ambient interior lighting on the vehicle’s door panels. This trim level has Peugeot’s connected 3D navigation with live traffic updates, and a new Peugeot i-Connect voice-operated assistant, alongside the previously mentioned i-Toggles.

Drive Assist Pack is added to Allure Premium models, which features rear cross traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, along with a Stop and Go function. Wireless smartphone charging is enabled via a wireless connection for Android Auto and Apple Car Play.

On GT models Clean Cabin Technology helps to reduce pollutants entering the cabin from the outside. A heated steering wheel and Driver Sport Pack enable drivers to select personalized color schemes for the digital display. The compact steering wheel now comes wrapped in full grain leather with Adamite green stitching and GT badging, while the cloth seats feature ‘Fraxx knit’ Tri-material Alcantara and the ‘Isabella’ leather effect.

Top of the range GT Premium models come with a Focal Premium HiFi 10HP system fitted, consisting of four tweeters, two woofers and one central speaker with a sub-woofer. An AGR-certified (Aktion Gesunder Rücken) driver’s seat is also fitted for improved driver support and comfort. This includes heat and massage functions, alongside four-way electric lumbar adjustment.
