The 2027 Audi A6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron have received updated hardware and software aimed at enhancing the driving and ownership experience. Updates include a redesigned multimedia interface (MMI) system, a new multifunction steering wheel, improved Audi drive select functionality, an optional integrated dashcam, expanded driver assistance features, upgraded voice controls and extended connectivity, reflecting similar changes made to the 2026 A5 and Q5 models.

For the 2027 model year, the Audi Q6 e-tron and A6 e-tron introduce specific features for electric vehicles (EVs), including a more efficient regenerative one-pedal braking mode and a Power Nap mode to enhance comfort during charging stops. All 2027 models also come with Audi Signature Care, covering scheduled maintenance for the first three years or 30,000 miles (4,820km), whichever comes first.

Audi MMI graphics

The 2027 Audi A6 Sportback e-tron and Q6 e-tron feature an updated Digital Stage interface across three displays, offering a cleaner layout, easier navigation and a consistent 3D vehicle model. The center MMI touch display emphasizes graphics over lists, separates status indicators from content and supports built-in and third-party apps with improved visibility. The virtual cockpit has a simplified layout, and smartphone functions can now be mirrored directly in both the cockpit and the MMI display.

The 2027 Audi Q6 e-tron and A6 e-tron feature an updated multifunction steering wheel. Inspired by the Audi Concept C, it emphasizes tactile controls and mechanical quality, reintroducing a scroll wheel to operate various functions in place of the previous touch-sensitive interface for volume and MMI menu selection.

High-resolution dashcam

The 2027 Audi Q6 e-tron and A6 e-tron offer a high-resolution dashcam integrated into the rear-view mirror, recording 4K video with HDR and a light-sensitive sensor. Recordings can be controlled via the central display, and an event function automatically or manually saves 30 seconds before and after an incident.

Driver assistance

For 2027 A6 Sportback e-tron and Q6 e-tron models, parking and maneuvering functions in the optional park assist pro expand as well. Reverse assist can now take over steering for the last 50m when backing toward a spot, making this maneuver less stressful, particularly on narrow streets. The additional maneuver assist can provide support in tight parking situations.

Audi assistant

The adaptive voice assistant now includes new functions powered by artificial intelligence. By accessing information in the owner’s manual, the Audi assistant can answer detailed questions about the vehicle.

Drivers can now use voice control to operate various driver-assist systems, such as adaptive cruise assist and distance control. Moreover, the system can recognize behavioral patterns and automatically adopt them as routines.

Immersive worlds and nap mode

Audi’s 2027 Q6 e-tron and A6 e-tron introduce experience worlds, which use lighting, sound, massage and climate controls to create relaxing or invigorating atmospheres. Launch scenarios include Activating, Relaxing and Harmonizing, each lasting 10-20 minutes and adapting to driving conditions. All models also feature a Power Nap mode for restful breaks, such as during charging.
