Following its creative showcase during Milan Design Week and Auto China 2026 event, Chinese vehicle manufacturer Lepas – Chery Holding Group’s premium automotive brand – has announced its UK Design Manifesto.

The Lepas UK Design Manifesto is centered on the brand’s deep and fundamental connection to the leopard, with a design language that prioritizes a fusion of speed, power and elegance.

The sleek stance and graceful tapering of Lepas models are influenced by the fluid form of the leopard, the auto maker said, translating natural agility into a refined automotive expression. Each sculpted body panel is defined by subtle, flowing contours that “evoke the ripple of muscles beneath its skin”.

Škoda Auto has unveiled the first glimpse of the interior of its new Epiq, the brand’s affordable all-electric compact SUV. The model is Škoda’s first series-production model to fully implement all aspects of the Modern Solid design language, focusing on clear layout and a minimalist style. The vehicle’s world premiere will take place on May 19, 2026, in Zurich, Switzerland.

The Epiq’s interior has been designed in line with the Modern Solid design language from the outset, with the first interior sketches offering an initial impression of the clean, angular design, prioritizing clarity and ease of orientation. Horizontal interior architecture replaces a conventional dashboard, enhancing the sense of space and openness, while ambient lighting elements contribute to a welcoming, cosy atmosphere.

Geely Technology Europe and 3SS have launched the Entertainment Hub in-car media platform for deployment across Zeekr vehicles in Europe. The system combines Android Automotive OS (AAOS) with 3SS’s 3Ready Automotive platform to deliver streaming, live TV and connected services within the vehicle.

The platform provides access to content from more than 15 global providers, including video streaming services, live television and news, integrated directly into the vehicle’s infotainment system. It is designed to operate natively within AAOS, enabling full control over user interface and experience while meeting automotive safety and performance requirements.

Entertainment Hub also enables updates through the 3SS’s experience management system, without requiring over-the-air software updates.

Mercedes-AMG has revealed the interior of the upcoming GT 4-Door Coupe, which has been developed in-house at Affalterbach.

“In the new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe, we have consistently focused every interior detail on performance and implemented it with the highest precision,” said Michael Schiebe, member of the board of management of Mercedes-Benz Group, production, quality and supply chain management, and chairman of the board of management of Mercedes-AMG.

“Even when stationary, the interior already showcases what the future GT 4-Door is capable of, making the vehicle’s driving dynamics immediately tangible. It creates maximum control and enables a typical AMG driving experience that gets the pulse racing.”

A key highlight of the interior is in the center console: three driving dynamics rotary controls enable the response, slip and cornering behavior to be adjusted.

A more intuitive user experience will be delivered to millions of Volvo drivers through the OEM’s largest over-the-air software update ever, with the rollout starting this week. Based on the Android Automotive operating system, and with several Google services included as standard, around 2.5 million Volvo cars across 85 countries will receive the new user experience, called Volvo Car UX.

The Swedish auto maker says this is one of the most comprehensive infotainment updates introduced by any manufacturer to date. It is designed to ensure a consistent design philosophy across all Volvo models.

The update incorporates customer feedback and introduces a more user-friendly layout for the car’s central display.

Ferrari has unveiled the interior and interface of the new Ferrari Luce, a full-electric sports car developed in collaboration with LoveFrom.

The Italian auto maker says that it has entered a new phase in design and engineering and that the Luce’s design and name reflect this direction, with a focus on clarity, functional design and the integration of electric performance technologies into the brand’s future models.

“Luce is more than a name. It is a vision,” the Prancing Horse said in a statement. “When Ferrari speaks of Luce, it is not defining a technology, but a philosophy: electrification as a means, not an end – a new era where design, engineering and imagination converge into something that did not exist before.”

Ferrari collaborated with LoveFrom, a creative collective founded by Sir Jony Ive and Marc Newson, on the design of the Luc, which reflects Ferrari’s heritage while rethinking elements such as materials, ergonomics, the interface and the overall user experience.

Motive has launched the AI Dashcam Plus, a dashcam that combines enhanced AI capabilities, hands-free communication and integrated hardware in a single device. Using edge AI to detect driving risk more quickly, the system has been designed to help reduce collisions.

Powered by the Qualcomm Dragonwing QCS6490 processor, it provides increased AI processing capacity and supports the simultaneous operation of more than 30 AI models, enabling broader detection with fewer false alerts. The device features dual forward-facing stereo vision to improve visibility and integrates live, hands-free two-way calling, with a unified design intended to improve reliability and reduce installation time.
