Adhesive application specialist Meler has added the Micron + Titan 200 to its Micron by Meler brand, where it joins the Micron + Titan PUR.
The melting systems are designed for Industry 4.0, to adapt to any production process where gluing is involved. The Micron + range is equipped with a 16in touchscreen that facilitates direct control of the main parameters (pumping, temperature, working modes) and its electronic platform allows real-time data monitoring.
According to Meler, Micron+ Titan 200 has a high melting capacity with 200-liter tank, compatible with adhesive formats including pillows, blocks and pellets. The company claims that homogeneous distribution of the temperature throughout the tank ensures that the melter provides optimum adhesive care and savings in electricity consumption.
Micron+ Titan PUR is designed to offer high-speed adhesive melting with preservation of the PUR hot melt adhesive – an issue that arises when using reactive adhesives in a production line. The solution is compatible with up to two blocks of 20kg unwrapped PUR adhesive. According to Meler, the design protects against moisture and charring.
