Reell Precision Manufacturing has announced its latest addition to its molded nylon hinge product family, the Reell MH13.
The MH13’s is constructed from glass-filled nylon andis available with torques from 1.0 to 3.0 N-m.
The MH13 utilizes the company’s patented ReellTorq clip technology to deliver precise and consistent torque with a fully qualified life of 25,000 cycles, while providing a smooth operating feel.
Applications include automotive center console lids and headrests.
Senior global product line manager, Horace Beale, says, “It’s compact size and durability, combined with the fact that it is optimized for applications in the 1.0 – 3.0 N-m range, make it an ideal solution for many automotive interiors applications where both weight and ease of assembly are critical design considerations.”
