Audi has introduced the Audi Concept C, an all-electric two-seat sports car. The concept’s minimalist exterior is reflected in the interior, which is free from distractions, with shy-tech solutions offering an alternative to current trends.
The concept features a vertical frame and a distinctive four-element light signature. The roof concept offers the benefits of a convertible while retaining the essence of a monolithic body style.
The interior features strong architectural surfaces and clear geometric forms that focus on providing space for occupants while subtly placing the driver at the center. Manufactured from anodized aluminum, physical controls are designed to be tactile – even the steering wheel features haptic elements. Every material contributes to the atmosphere of the interior. The color palette is inspired by titanium and exhibits tone-on-tone harmony. Indirect ambient lighting with natural hues is used to reveal the materials and enhance the interior design’s solidity.
Using intelligent technologies, the display and operating concept have been designed with the shy tech philosophy in mind. The 10.4in foldable center display provides users with relevant information in an intuitive way and in context. Together with the haptic controls on the steering wheel and center console, the design aims to achieve clarity and precision in user interaction.
