Nominations open for Automotive Testing Technology International Awards 2025

The search is on for the brightest minds and groundbreaking innovations in the automotive testing industry, as nominations for the 2025 Automotive Testing Technology International Awards officially open. This prestigious event celebrates the most impactful and forward-thinking contributions to the field, shining a spotlight on excellence across engineering, testing and development.

Key dates for your diary

  • Open for entries: Now
  • Close for entries: March 14, 2025
  • Awards ceremony: May 20, 2025

In 2024, the ATTI Awards were formally presented for the first time at Automotive Testing Expo Europe in Stuttgart, Germany, further solidifying Automotive Testing Technology International’s long-standing affiliation with the exhibition.

The ATTI Awards 2025 will follow a similar format, once again taking place at Automotive Testing Expo Europe. Attendees can also look forward to the ATTI Forum which will host multiple sessions of content across various themes on Day 2 of the show (May 21). To submit a proposal, click here.

To be eligible, the product, service or facility must have been launched after April 2024. We welcome nominations for new technologies, developments of existing ones, or innovative applications.

ATTI Awards new categoriesNew for 2025

The ATTI Awards are constantly evolving, and this year, the categories have been tweaked and some new ones added as follows:

  • Facility of the Year
  • Person of the Year
  • Testing Hardware Innovation of the Year
  • Testing Software Innovation of the Year
  • ADAS & AV Test Innovation of the Year
  • Sustainable Powertrain Test Innovation of the Year
  • New for 2025: Simulation Innovation of the Year
  • New for 2025: Supplier of the Year
  • New for 2025: OEM of the Year

Judging process

Our panel of judges consists of industry experts and leading technology writers who bring a wealth of experience and insight to the evaluation process.

This year, nominees will be judged across four key criteria:

  • Innovation and creativity – Recognizing unique and groundbreaking ideas that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
  • Impact and relevance – Celebrating solutions that address key industry challenges, such as sustainability and efficiency, with the potential to drive significant change.
  • Technical excellence – Highlighting well-engineered, reliable solutions backed by robust data and sound engineering principles.
  • Results and evidence – Validating success through measurable performance and real-world application.

Whether it’s pioneering new approaches, solving critical challenges, or setting benchmarks in technical performance, these awards are an opportunity to recognize outstanding contributions to the future of automotive testing.

The deadline for nominations is March 14, 2025, so don’t miss your chance to highlight the innovations and teams making a difference.

Why participate

Those honored will join a community of innovators pushing the industry forward, with the ceremony offering a fantastic chance to network and meet with potential future partners. It is also a great opportunity to build recognition and credibility for the work that a company is doing and to endorse its place within the industry – generating new business leads, increasing brand awareness, and rewarding and encouraging internal teams.

How to nominate

To submit a nomination, please provide 300-500 words in a Word document explaining why your product, service or facility deserves recognition.

Be sure to include as much supporting information and evidence as possible, such as key performance data including how the system is relevant to the real world (for example, proving a model’s correlation to actual vehicles and systems), sales figures, press releases and customer testimonials. If similar products exist on the market, please highlight what sets your product apart and its unique selling points.

You may send your nomination directly to the awards chair and ATTI editor, Rachel Evans.
