Standex Engraving Mold-Tech (SEMT) and Texturas Santana do Parnaiba (TSP) have announced a new partnership that will provide OEMs and the related supplier base in Brazil with a more comprehensive set of engraving and tool finishing services for automotive interiors.

The two companies are now working together through a contractual business agreement, joining the strengths of TSP’s laser engraving capabilities with SEMT’s advanced digital etching technology and tool finishing services.

SEMT is now operating two locations under the name Mold-Tech TSP, with full responsibility over the engraving business locally, offering an additional 4000 GF and 1200 GF laser machines. Its Mold-Tech Brazil facility is being renamed Mold-Tech Tool Finishing to align with its new focus.

According to SEMT, the partnership will provide “greater efficiencies, innovative technology and a sharing of best practices to help make positive changes to best serve its customers”.
